Entire town centre to be declared an Air Quality Management Area.
POLLUTION caused by heavy traffic is now so severe in part of Honiton that a wide section of the town centre is to be declared an Air Quality Management Area.
East Devon District Council risks a judicial review if it fails to take action over nitrogen dioxide levels at Turks Head.
But the geographical area covered by the declaration is likely to include the entire High Street and junctions with the A30 and A35.
