CUSTOMERS at a Honiton barber’s shop donated �257.70 to this year’s Poppy Appeal.
It was the highest amount collected for the Royal British Legion’s annual fund-raiser at Alan Rowe Barbering, in High Street.
“I would like to give my sincere thanks to our customers,” said Mr Rowe MBE.
“It was by far the best amount ever from within the shop and, in the present economic climate, I think that outstanding.
