Poppy collection at Seaton tops £14k

Seaton Branch of the Royal British Legion’s poppy collections raised a massive £14,763.84 this year – up £2,500 on 2015.

Appeal organiser Alison King praised residents and traders for their support and paid special thanks to the local Tesco store for its continued support and extra help this year with all the banking.

She also thanked all the volunteers who stood and sold poppies.
