HE was the first mayor in Honiton's history to die while in office and now the late Councillor Chris Tratt is to be the first person to be posthumously made an Honoured Citizen of the town.
HE was the first mayor in Honiton's history to die while in office and now the late Councillor Chris Tratt is to be the first person to be posthumously made an Honoured Citizen of the town.Honiton Town Council unanimously agreed to make the award this week.Councillors further agreed to make an annual award in Councillor Tratt's memory to recognise the sporting achievement of a young person. A sum of £300 has been included in the council's precept to cover the cost of the award.A tree is to be planted in Councillor Tratt's memory at the Glen.
