THOUSANDS of pounds worth of goods have been stolen following a spate of shed break-ins in Axminster.
Eight sheds were burgled in the Woodbury Lane area and in Lyme Road overnight, between Sunday, November 22, and Monday, November 23.
Police said items taken included chainsaws, strimmers, hedge cutters and petrol driven equipment.
A police spokesman said: "We are asking people to be vigilant following a spate of shed burglaries.
"Unfortunately, it's a common crime in the area and we are calling for anyone who heard or saw anything to get in touch.
