Axminster police officers show tots around their patrol vehicle

Two police officers visited Uplyme Pre-school last week – to help the youngsters with their latest project.

The theme this term has been transport, with the final week concentrating on emergency vehicles.

Axminster PCSOs Andy Trott and Hayley Widger went along to show the youngsters their van and they also took the opportunity to tell them how police help people.

Earlier in the term, Brian Street, from the RNLI in Lyme Regis, talked to the children about the lifeboat and showed them the special equipment they use.
