Primark gets your vote

THE Herald's web poll, which asked Honiton residents what shop they would most like to see open in the town centre, has now closed. Your overwhelming choice was Primark, or a similar affordable clothes chain.

THE Herald's web poll, which asked Honiton residents what shop they would most like to see open in the town centre, has now closed.Your overwhelming choice was Primark, or a similar affordable clothes chain.More than 37 per cent of the votes cast were in favour of a Primark-style outlet.In joint second place, with 20.23 per cent of votes, was a larger supermarket and a fast food outlet, such as Subway.Homeware shops attracted 5.2 per cent of your votes and pound shops 4.62 per cent.Just 2.89 per cent said they would like to see a designer clothes shop open in Honiton.The Herald would like to thank all those who took the trouble to vote.
