A PUBLIC meeting is to be held in Axmouth tomorrow (Wednesday, July 21) over the route lorries will take to deliver land-based infill to the Tesco site in Seaton .
There are fears that hundreds of lorries could travel through the village, loaded with infill.
Councillors believe a new application by the superstore to import the majority of the infill by sea could still leave 10 per cent delivered by lorries..
District councillor Ian Thomas and Seaton’s representative on Devon County Council, Jim Knight, say they are concerned for the safety of residents and buildings.
The meeting will be held in the village hall at 7.45pm.
