Pupils don pyjamas for some “bedtime” reading

Youngsters swap uniforms for PJs to celebrate World Book Day at Axminster Primary School

YOUNGSTERS at Axminster Community Primary School swapped their uniforms for pyjamas to enjoy a little “bedtime” reading.

They were amongst thousands of pupils across the country taking part in World Book Day events.

They took along their best-loved stories – and cuddly toys – to read extracts from their favourite stories to their classmates.
