FOOTPATHS at a Honiton beauty spot are in such a poor state of repair that, ultimately, they could be closed to the public.Alf Boom, who has been leading regeneration work at the Glen, told Honiton Town Council's April meeting that the footpaths require the attention of workmen.County councillor Roger Boote had some disappointing advice for the town council.He said: "You could have the work done by an approved contractor and put the cost on your precept.
