Television star and retail expert, Mary Portas, has been invited to Honiton to check out what’s on offer in High Street.
RETAIL expert Mary Portas could be heading to Honiton to check out the High Street.
The star of television show Mary Queen of Shops is to be invited to take a look at the town centre - to see what Honiton has to offer. The town council is to write to Ms Portas, who is to lead a government review on the future of the UK’s high streets.
Councillor Vivienne Ash suggested that Honiton’s marketing group prepare a case to put to the expert.
Councillors are proud of what the town has got to offer.
