Farmers encouraged to sign up to Farm Watch scheme.

Police in Honiton have been raising awareness about crime prevention in rural and isolated communities.

PC Clive Vickery and PC Simon Aldred took part in an initiative to encourage farmers to sign up to the Farm Watch scheme.

The events were run as part of Operation Newmarket which has been set up to target rural crime.

Officers from the local policing support team, neighbourhood policing team and special constabulary were involved in the initiative.
