Honiton woman receives a recycling hero award.
Honiton recycling champion Karen Berger, who started the Waste Not Want Not scheme, has been recognised for her efforts.
She received the Your Recycling Hero award at the first Recycle Devon Thank You awards, which celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Don’t Let Devon Go To Waste campaign.
Karen was the driving force and inspiration behind Waste Not Want Not events in the town and has been creating an ethos of reuse - saving unwanted items from ending up in landfill.
