Recorded crime falls in Seaton

CRIME was down in Seaton last month, compared to the same period last year, according to police figures.

CRIME was down in Seaton last month, compared to the same period last year, according to police figures.

Neighbourhood beat manager Pc Roy Hutter told councillors during their monthly meeting on Monday that 15 crimes had been reported, compared to 26 the previous year.

He said there had been four reported crimes this month, so far.

He added that some reported crimes had been the result of proactive policing - such as executing drug warrants.
