Recorded crime reduced in Seaton

SEATON police have reported that crime was down last month, compared to last year's figures for the same time period.

SEATON police have reported that crime was down last month, compared to last year's figures for the same time period.Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC Roy Hutter said during the monthly council meeting on Monday (December 15) that numbers had dropped from 32 in 2007 to 24 in 2008. But he reported five cases of actual bodily harm, two burglaries and three incidents of criminal damage to motor vehicles.He referred to one burglary as a distraction type, but said there were two suspects in mind.
