ONE teenage couple will not be parted after learning they both have the A-level results needed to attend the same university.

ONE teenage couple will not be parted after learning they both have the A-level results needed to attend the same university.Eighteen-year-olds Lisa Birch and Tom Wills, who studied at the Axe Valley Community College, have secured places at Plymouth University. Lisa, who gained two As, a B and a C, will study photography. Tom, who was just short of the required marks, convinced the university with his personal statement and experience to enrol him for media studies.The couple, who have been together for 18 months, will even be living in the same halls of residence.Lisa said: "I'm happy and it's a relief. My results weren't so good last year."And Tom and I will now be living together, which is quite cute."Tom added: "We would have been upset if we couldn't stay together. "I'd thought about Exeter if not Plymouth - just to be close by.
