I am writing to ask for your readers' help in re-tracing the footsteps of my father. Ernest George Kitchin was a Methodist Lay Pastor in the Devon and Dorset Mission from 1932 to 1936, then in Bridport 1936 to 1938. He moved to Wellington, Somerset, in 1938 and on to Wolverton in 1944.For some while he lived at Glencairn House, Axminster, (see picture above). Does anyone remember him or can someone identify Glencairn House?I am visiting Axminster soon and would welcome some help in re-tracing the footsteps of my father.
