LYME Regis Coastguards were called out to reports that people could be cut off by the tide to the east of Charmouth.

A member of the public said they had seen white lights on Sunday, November 1, at around 8.50pm.

On investigation, the Rescue Team discovered they were the torches of fossil hunters.
