COASTGUARDS have issued a warning not to drink and take to the water after three Honiton men in a dingy drifted out to sea.

COASTGUARDS have issued a warning not to drink and take to the water after three Honiton men in a dingy drifted out to sea.Exmouth fishing boat The Becci of Ladram on Saturday picked up the men when their paddle-less vessel was swept away from the shore by the wind. Brixham coastguards said the Honiton men had been drinking and did not have paddles or any safety equipment. The men were taken back to Exmouth docks where the town's coastguard team were waiting to give safety advice.
