Restaurant burglary near Honiton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a restaurant near Honiton was burgled.
The burglary happened at the Little Chef in Monkton, which is located on the A30, between 11.30pm and 11.40pm on Saturday, June 7.
Police say entry was gained to the premises through a ground floor window and although attempts were made to steal from within, it is not believed any property was stolen.
The offender or offenders left the premises through the rear fire exit.
Detective Sergeant Sally Wootton, Exmouth investigation team, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen someone acting suspiciously.”
