Retirement Villages, which owns Gittish Hill Park, near Honiton, has been shortlisted for a national award recognising outstanding contribution to the healthcare industry.The national company, which owns and manages a dozen age-exclusive villages, has beaten off stiff competition to secure a place in the final of the Health Investor awards.Retirement Villages is competing in the residential and domiciliary care category, which aims to pinpoint innovative schemes that combine care and assisted living, offer a range of tenures and are integrated within the community."We are delighted to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award," said Retirement Villages' chief executive Jon Gooding.
