FINE weather attracted 10 members of the public and two town councillors to a recent open day at Roundball Wood, in Honiton.

FINE weather attracted 10 members of the public and two town councillors to a recent open day at Roundball Wood, in Honiton.The event was led by the wood's honorary wardens.Leading warden Richard Howe said: "The wood is looking especially attractive at the moment. I was delighted to see so many people turn up, especially as most of them already knew and appreciated our very own heritage woodland."Honiton Town Council manages the centuries old wood and is keen to engage more local people in voluntary work at the beauty spot.
