MUSBURY Primary School pupils were visited by Claudius, Maximus and Boudicca - as part of a lesson about the Romans,
The visit, organised by teacher Caroline Cole, was an introduction to life in the Roman times for the Key Stage 2 pupils.
The children learned about life as a centurion and the hostilities faced by the Roman army when they first arrived in Britain.
Headteacher Clive Salmon said: "Spending the day with a Roman centurion and the queen of the Iceni people really gave pupils an insight into this important and interesting aspect of Roman history. The children were truly inspired.
