Rotary honoured for helping disaster victims

THE Rotary Club of Honiton has been presented with a bronze pennant by charity Shelterbox after sponsoring 26 emergency boxes that provided aid for at least 250 disaster victims.

THE Rotary Club of Honiton has been presented with a bronze pennant by charity Shelterbox after sponsoring 26 emergency boxes that provided aid for at least 250 disaster victims.After receiving the award, a spokesman for the Rotary Club said: "We are very grateful to the public of Honiton and district for their very generous support at our various fund-raising collections."Rotarians will again be collecting for the Shelterbox Trust at Tesco on December 17.
