Honiton Carnival Committee is calling on any youngsters who would like a chance to become royalty on its carnival float this year.

The minimum age is eight years old, and they would need to be free every Saturday in September and October, with a Saturday night in November and two Christmas Carnivals in December.

There would also be a few other events that they would need to attend during carnival season.

Only two youngsters are required for the float.

Anyone interested should write to Mrs Helen Turner, 4 Whitefield, Wilmington, Honiton, Devon, EX14 9JJ, and explain why they should be chosen, and about themselves and their hobbies etc. The closing date is Friday, June 16.
