A FOOD collecting bin for cat lovers at a Honiton supermarket is being used by people for rubbish.

A FOOD collecting bin for cat lovers at a Honiton supermarket is being used by people for rubbish.The Honiton branch of Cats Protection is now urging bin abusers to think twice before leaving litter behind.The charity says the bin is for donations of tinned or dried food, and nothing else."The bin sits at the exit of Co-op in Lace Walk and, sometimes, there is more rubbish in it than food," said the charity's local co-ordinator Lizzie Manley."We tried putting a sign on it, but somebody chucked the sign in the food bin.
