Runners from Honiton join together for the third Baton relay to the National Memorial Arboretum.
RUNNERS from Honiton laced up for their third Baton relay run to the National Memorial Arboretum.
There was a change to this year’s run as the team set off from the Britannia Gate RAF Brize Norton for the first time.
The weather was kind for the 106 mile journey.
Alan Rowe MBE, the founder of the Baton, said: “The whole team gelled perfectly everyone working for the good of the team, many of them from Honiton.”
They were also joined by Suzanne Dando and her husband Adam - two of the Baton’s new trustees.
At RAF Brize Norton a cheque for £1,000 was presented to the RAF Benevolent Fund.
The team are now working on next year’s run.
