A Honiton salon has landed this year’s Pride of Honiton award.
Butterflies Beauty Studio, in New Street, won the award after it was recognised for its business excellence by Honiton and District Chamber of Commerce.
Sam Wilson, of Butterflies, said: “I cannot thank enough, all our clients who voted for us.
“This means a great deal to Butterflies.
“With so many great businesses in Honiton, it’s a great honour to win this award for the second year running.”
At Honiton and District Chamber of Commerce’s recent annual general meeting, it was announced that Tony McCollum, Honiton’s market manager, was voted as chairman, taking over from Colin Wright, who announced his retirement as chairman earlier this year.
Mr Wright was elected president of the group, with Mr McCollum elected vice-president.
Mr Wright said: “This is the second year in a row that Butterflies has won the Pride of Honiton award.
“We had four or five people write into us nominating Butterflies.
“I would certainly like to congratulate Butterflies for winning the prestigious award again.”
Hillside Garage came second in the voting.
