NO quips about female drivers, but...a woman in her 30s drove her car into an East Devon brook after following Sat Nav instructions. But even though the driver, from Somerset, had the technology at her fingertips, she was unable to explain her location when she called the fire service to rescue her.And when she tried to drive the vehicle out, the car became lodged in the mud and the woman burned the clutch out in her attempts to free it.Fire station officer John Elliot said: "She followed the Sat Nav to the letter. There wasn't any road and when the Sat Nav said turn left she did, and ended up in the brook. "I would have thought it was pretty apparent there wasn't any road.
