SCARECROWS will be making appearances in gardens in Colyton and Colyford from July 3 to 10.
People are invited to guess the scarecrow characters, from well-known children’s books. Entry forms can be collected from Post Offices in the parish and Colyton Library.
The closing date is July 9. The scarecrows will appear at St Andrew’s Church fete, Colyton, on the afternoon of July 10 to collect their prizes. There will also be a prize for guessing the children’s books depicted by them.
