Honiton town councillor Jill McNally joined the cubs to plant some flowers in the street.

Motorists driving in Dowell Street will have a prettier view now thanks to the effort of 1st Honiton Scouts and Jackson Cubs.

Honiton town councillor Jill McNally joined the cubs to plant some flowers in the street.

The flowers were donated to the group by Homebase for the fifth year running.

Helen Turner, leader of the scouts, said: “When they flower, it will be something nice to look at for motorists whilst waiting for the lights to change.”
