Anonymous donation replaces cash stolen during Honiton burglary.
A thief, who burgled a Honiton business and stole cash from charity tins, will not deprive worthy causes of donations - thanks to an anonymous well-wisher.
Following a break-in at Chippy Joe’s, in New Street, a businessman has given 150 to replace the stolen money.
The donor does not wish to be identified and the cash will be split between TRIP Community Transport Association and Children’s Hospice South West.
Meanwhile, the take-away and restaurant’s owner, Joe Gamlen, has stuck a new poster in his window.
