Elderly woman is recovered from the water by a member of the public.
An elderly woman was rescued from the sea at Seaton yesterday (Wednesday, May 14).
Coastguard Rescue Officers from Beer were called to the Esplanade at around 9.30am following reports that a woman was in the water.
A member of the public recovered the lady from the sea and she was passed to the care of the SW ambulance service.
