SEATON Town Council's annual meeting, due to take place tonight (Monday), has been cancelled.
Town clerk David Mears said in a statement: "I have decided to cancel tonight's annual council meeting due to errors with the date on the notice/summons.
"This is a classic error, which we all try to avoid but, somehow, there are times when we do not."
The meeting will now take place on Monday, May 24.
