SEATON beach has narrowly avoided being labelled dirty after scraping a pass for the quality of its water by the Marine Conservation Society (MSC).

SEATON beach has narrowly avoided being labelled 'dirty' after scraping a pass for the quality of its water by the Marine Conservation Society (MSC).

Tests carried out last summer, gave the beach a 'basic pass' for the minimum legal quality standard due to sewage overflows.
