On Sunday, July 25, hundreds of bikers roared into Seaton from all over the West Country to enjoy a day by the sea in the company of biker friends old and new.

Seaton Bikers Day Out, an annual fund raising event, took place on The Esplanade which was closed to traffic to allow the bikes to pour in from 10am.

The organisers were aided by many volunteers as well as members of the Axemen motorcycle club from Axminster who helped to man the collecting buckets and marshal the bikes. Despite grey cloudy skies, the weather stayed dry for the whole event.

Each bike attending paid a minimum donation of three pounds and many paid more. Members of the public who came along to admire the fantastic machines also gave generously. By the end of the day £1623 had been collected
All of the money raised goes to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
