A SEATON man has pleaded guilty at Exeter Crown Court to three burglaries in the town.
A SEATON man has pleaded guilty at Exeter Crown Court to three burglaries in the town. Nathan Matthews, 33, of Harbour Road, admitted to burglaries in Colyford Road and two at properties in Hillymead. The court heard electrical equipment, TVs, DVDs, camcorder, jewellery and a laptop were stolen during the raids. In one property, an unspecified amount of cash was stolen from a safe. Matthews' counsel, Mary McCarthy, said it was the case that Matthews had been exploited by others who took him to the burglaries and used him. He had no previous convictions.Sentence was adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
