As with all the other carnival committees in East Devon, Seaton will not be having a procession on September 4.
However, organisers say they will be holding outside events during the week.
The first event for Seaton Carnival will be a coffee morning with stalls at the Methodist Church Hall with a car boot in the car park. This will be on Saturday 28th August 10am -1pm. Sunday 29th will be the popular Classic Car Show on the Esplanade, starting at 10am.
Monday 30th will be the usual Street Fair on the Esplanade, also from 10am.
Also on Monday 30th there is bowling drive at the bowling club, starting at 2pm.
On Tuesday, August 31 there is a car treasure hunt starting at 6pm from the Methodist Church Car park.
On Thursday 2nd September there is a dog show at 10.30am next to the Galley on the Esplanade.
Other events include an open shore fishing competition from the beach depending on the tide. Times to be advised. This is set for August 27, 7pm to 11pm.
