A SEATON charity shop has been hit by the January blues as less residents make donations this month.

Hospiscare shop in Marine Crescent is currently low on stock, particularly ladies' clothing.

Manager Teresa Evans believes the lack of donations is due to the recent bad weather and the time of year, when people are being careful.

She said; "We would like to appeal to the people of Seaton to turn out their wardrobes! All donations are welcome."

She advised people using a vehicle to drop off donations to bear in mind that traffic orders in Fore Street are being enforced and they will need to have a permit on display. She said there was one available for donators if they call in advance on (01297) 22457.
