Awards presented by Seaton’s mayor Councillor Peter Burrows.

Gardening enthusiasts were recognised at an awards ceremony hosted by Seaton in Bloom.

Awards and prizes were presented by the mayor Councillor Peter Burrows to the children who had achieved a place in the South West in Bloom competition and were placed in the local Seaton in Bloom judging.

The winners of the six years and over competition were:

1st - Max Nevell.

2nd - Scarlett Gaukroger.

3rd - Isabelle Lacey and Alison Sojeebun. Evllin Hunt, Eric McLennan, Avie Moss, Callum Joyce, Tilly Gimblett, and Samuel Hemmens were highly commended for their efforts.

Winners of the seven to 11 category:

1st - Matilda Gaukroger.

2nd - Daisy Graysmark.

3rd - Poppy Toose.

Enjiely Darins, Isabella Synek-Herd, Will House, Charlotte Luan, Ellie Haines, Daisy Goodman, Hannah McCabe, Aimee Kenworthy, Matthew Heron, Evllin Hunt, Eric McLennan, Avie Moss, Callum Joyce, Tilly Gimblett, and Samuel Hemmens were highly commended for their efforts.

Awards were also presented to Christopher Hill and Colin Donelan for the best front gardens and Richard Bowman and J Swallow for the best communal area.

Beach Belles was awarded the title of best commercial property and Christopher Hill was again rewarded for the best hanging baskets.
