Seaton launches new chamber of commerce

OVER 100 people attended the launch of the new Seaton Chamber of Commerce last week.

OVER 100 people attended the launch of the new Seaton Chamber of Commerce last week.Axminster, Honiton and East Devon Chambers showed their support, along with the Colyton Business Association, at the event at Eyre Court..Other visitors included Ian Morris, from the government office for the South West (BERR), Business Link and town and county councillors.Member Jenny Nunn said the chamber would act as a voice in the town. She said: "There were a record number of local business people who attended and we hope to be able to carry forward a lot of the points raised."The AGM meeting will be held at the Eyre Court Hotel on June 3 at 7.30pm. Anyone wishing to join can still sign up for £20 for the year.
