Seaton Lions announce schedule for annual run for good causes

Seaton and District Lions Club will be transporting Father Christmas to towns and villages across the Axe Valley again this year.
Members will be on the road throughout December with their illuminated Santa sleigh, playing carols and giving out sweets to the children.
The Lions try and visit nearly every street in Axmouth, Beer, Colyford, Colyton and Seaton.
They set off at 6pm and finish at 8pm. The Lions cover a different route each night starting this year on Monday, December 5, in Colyford, working their way through the village. Details of the streets the Lions will visit will be posted daily on the Seaton and District Lions Facebook page.
Other December dates and venues are;
Tuesday, December, 6: Colyvale, starting at Courtenay Drive and finishing at Brookfield Drive.
Wednesday, December 7: Seaton starting at Boundary Park/Drovers Way and finishing at Scallwell Lane.
Thursday, December 8: Colyton starting at Burnards Field Road round the town centre and finishing at Grove Hill.
Friday, December 9: Axmouth village and later Seaton seafront, Royal Observer Way and Harbour Road.
Monday, December 12: Beer, starting at the Causeway then down Fore Street, Park Road, Underleys through the rest of the village.
Tuesday, December 13: Seaton, starting from Churston Rise and Honeyditches Drive and finishing in York Road.
Wednesday, December 14: Seaton, Riverdale, finishing at Manor Gardens.
Thursday, December 15: Seaton, Valley View through the streets down to Lydgates.
Friday, December 16: Seaton, Harepath Road at the junction with Popular Tree Drive finishing the evening in Court Lane.
Monday, December 19: Seaton, Popular Tree Drive on the other side of the road working their way down to Roman Way.
Tuesday, December 20: Seaton, starting at the top of Marlpit Lane driving around the neighbouring streets and finishing at the bottom of Marlpit Lane.
Wednesday, December 21: Seaton, starting at Fisherman’s Gap going up Castle Hill and the Beer Road coming back down and finishing in Sea Hill.
Friday, December 23: Seaton Square.
Christmas Eve: The Plaza outside Tesco.
