Annual senior citizens’ lunch is attended by 103 guests at Colyford Memorial Hall

Seaton and District Lions Club entertained 103 guests at their annual senior citizens’ lunch in Colyford Memorial Hall on Sunday.

They enjoyed a full three course turkey dinner served up by the members and their helpers.

This year the club was joined by five staff members from Waitrose, the main sponsors who donated £750 towards the cost of the meal and the hire of the hall.

Also helping were two of Seaton Young Leaders in Service, Laura and Kai Fisher.

The meal was once again cooked by Monica’s Kitchens and her band of assistants.

The afternoon ended with a round of seasonal carols before the Lions took many of their guests home.
