A SEATON man has appeared in court accused of sexual crimes against a woman with a mental disorder.
Paul Robert Martin-Irvine, 62, faces four charges of rape against a woman who is alleged to have been unable to refuse because of her disorder, between July 2008 and January this year.
It is alleged Martin-Irvine knew, or could be reasonably expected to have known, that the woman had a mental disorder. His case has been sent to Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on February 23.
