Unknown resident sent youths packing after their tried to break into Townsend Medical Practice

Staff at Townsend House Medical Practice in Seaton want to trace a member of the public who prevented a possible break-in at around 7.45pm last Wednesday (July 22).

Realising that a number of youths were trying to gain entry to the surgery the person called the police and then confronted the gang, who ran off.

A spokeswoman for the practice said: “We do not know who the person was but they were instrumental in preventing damage as the youths were trying to throw a bench through a glass door. We would be grateful if the person would make themselves known so we may thank them in person.”
