TWO men have been arrested for drink driving in two separate incidents in the Seaton rural area.

A 25-year-old local man was arrested following a collision with a hedge in Coly Road, Colyton, on Friday February 12, at 9.30am.

He was charged with drink driving after he provided a positive roadside breath sample. He will appear in court on March 2.

A 45-year-old Seaton man was stopped by police after he drove his vehicle the wrong way up Long Hill, Beer.

He provided a positive sample at around 6pm, Saturday, February 13, and was also charged for driving without an MOT or insurance, and otherwise than in accordance with his driving licence. He will also appear in court on March 2.

His vehicle was seized due to the lack of insurance and he will have to pay �105, plus �12 a day storage costs, to get it back.
