EAST Devon District Council's rejection of the Seaton housing plan is just wrong. Apparently affordable homes are supposed to be their number one priority. But that doesn't include seaton! There is another application in Fore Street for 'just 14 homes'. No affordable ones there, then? You guessed it! Like the last 6 developments. Meanwhile, Axminster, Beer, Uplyme, Hawkchurch, Colyton, Honiton and even Sidmouth get some! Bring on the new unitary authority, please. Julian Manning Harepath RoadSeaton
