FIREFIGHTERS attended a report of an oven on fire at a property in Queen Street, Seaton, yesterday, September 20.

FIREFIGHTERS attended a report of an oven on fire at a property in Queen Street, Seaton, yesterday, September 20.

One fire crew from Seaton fire station and one appliance from Cloyton were called out to the incident at around 6.38pm.

The kitchen was slightly smoke damaged and the crews used two sets of breathing apparatus and one dry powder extinguisher to deal with the flames.

A cooker which caught fire in the first floor kitchen was made safe before firefighters left the property.
