Seaton Rotary launches Christmas postal service

The Rotary Club of Seaton has launched its annual Christmas postal service.

It will operate until Saturday December 9 with post boxes situated at a number of local venues.

These include: Beer Village Store; Beer Pharmacy; Steve’s Paper Shop; Seaton Co-Op Store, The Underfleet, Seaton; Co-Op Store, Harepath Road, Seaton; Tescos Seaton; Woodfield Store, Primrose Way, Seaton; The White Hart Colyford; and Colyton Butchers.

A spokesman for the Rotarians stressed that deliveries will only be made to Axmouth, Beer, Colyford, Colyton and Seaton. All other mail will be discarded.

* The Royal Mail’s latest recommended posting dates for Christmas in the UK are: December 20 for Second Class Mail; December 21 for First Class Mail; December 21 for Special Delivery; December 22 for Special Delivery Saturday Guaranteed. Airmail recommended posting dates for around the globe are typically in early December and will be announced at a later date.
