Local groups are planning a fun afternoon for young people and their families
Volunteer groups in Seaton have joined together to run this year’s Party in the Park on Sunday (May 20).
The fun afternoon of events for young people under the age of 16 and their families, takes place on the grassed area between the playground and skateboard park, off the Underfleet car park.
Starting at noon and running until 4pm, there will be bouncy castles, games, coconut shy, art and craft stalls, barbecue, popcorn, food and drinks.
To celebrate the Royal Wedding there will be a fancy dress competition with prizes in three age groups – six and under, seven to 11 and 12 and over. The theme is Bride and Groom, Royal Family and Wedding Guests.
Seaton Majorettes are will give on one of their colourful displays at 3pm.
Admission is free with nearly everything being donated by the organisers, Christians Together in Seaton, Seaton Town Council, Royal British Legion and Seaton and District Lions Club.
* Bring your own picnic blanket or chairs to sit on.
